The Sheep and Wool Festival was last weekend, and it seems like a very long time ago already. I wish I had blogged about it earlier so it would all be fresh in my mind, but I think that the photos and captions do enough to convey what kind of weekend we had. TWiP: Vintage Granny Square Vibes

This Week in Pictures, Week 42, 2018

So, we’re a day and a half late this week, and I’m ok with that. Instead of spending my Saturday morning writing this roundup, I spent it in a cozy little cabin in Esopus, NY, sipping coffee and getting ready for the Sheep and Wool Festival. Now that I’m back, though, I show you the granny square cowl that occupied my thoughts (and my hook) all week.

TWiP: End of Summer Escapes

This Week in Pictures, Week 35, 2018

It was brutally hot this week. We had a family trip to the beach, and I took a solo one-night vacation at my parents’ house where I enjoyed a refreshing dip in their pool, a night in my old bedroom, and big cup of coffee in bed before heading to work. It was lovely. There was also a lot of knitting… I finished that shawl last night!

TWiP: Citrus

This Week in Pictures, Week 34, 2018

The colors this week have tended to the lime and the orange. It’s mostly due to the new tops I sewed. Yes, I actually pulled out the sewing machine this week and whipped up some new stuff for my closet. I plan to give them their own post, just as soon as I finish the last of the four, and I’ve had a chance for a little back yard photo shoot.
