Gotta say, it’s been kind of a single track here this week. My new pattern release took up the majority of my mental capacity, and when I was done thinking about that, I moved onto thinking about yarn for the next project.
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Flickr and Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.
Photos taken with 📷 (Canon EOS 80D) or 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S7).
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday

On my way out of the bagel shop, the liquor store lured me in. Now that I’ve got the drink, I need a pool and a BBQ to enjoy it with…
Sunday

Took a dip in my parents’ pool today. It was my niece’s first time in. Love her little legs ♥
Monday

I knew if I didn’t take the afternoon off officially, that I would end up thinking about this pattern the whole time anyway. Better just to give in and get it done! So, I’ve cashed in a half of a personal day and I’m sitting in Starbucks, transcribing my notes onto the computer and working out the pattern sizing.
Tuesday

This is my new sweater pattern, all knit up and featuring buttons from my grandmother’s button jar. It is WAY too hot to be wearing this outside today, which leads me to believe it will be perfect when I bring it to Ireland next month, where the weather is probably going to be about 20-30 degrees cooler than it is right here, right now.
Wednesday

Published my new pattern today. In the middle of a thunder storm that turned my bedroom super dark. It was a very dramatic pattern release 😀

Thursday

More rain today. I believe this is the last of the day lilies. I also believe that fence is in desperate need of a new paint job. I walk past it every day, but I didn’t notice until I saw it in my photo. What a mess!

Friday

I plunked down more cash than I usually do on some fancy yarn today, for a couple of projects I’m excited about. I did that shopping online, but I still craved the yarn shop experience. Luckily Wool and Grace was open late, and I could get my fix. I love how many samples that store has knit up! It’s great to see the beautiful designs in 3D instead of just looking at them in books. After this morning’s purchase I couldn’t justify spending any more money, but hopefully next time I drop in there, I will bring something home with me 🙂
