I have very much enjoyed the flowering trees this week, both at home, and at work. I have spent my commute daydreaming about starting a photographic blossom collection, pulling over on the side of the road and capturing every variety of pink tree between my house and the office.
I haven’t done it yet, because I can’t quite get over the feeling that I may be trespassing into someone’s personal space, even if I stay on the road, and zoom in from afar. But someday, maybe I will.

Saturday
We have a bit of a mug storage problem, because nearly every time I design a new one for my Zazzle shop, I want to buy it for myself. I have just enough self control to wait for 50% off sales, but that’s about it. Luckily today I remembered this old mug stand my grandfather made (I think – I have to ask my Mom). It’s been (literally) collecting dust on top of the fridge for many years. I took it down, cleaned it up, and now I can display whatever six mugs I feel like displaying while the others stay in the closet. As you can see, I’m feeling a pink-and-green vibe today. Very springlike!

I love these purple trees. And all of the other flowering trees around my office building. I think I’m going to have to bring in my fancy camera tomorrow for some lunch hour photography.
