It’s been another week with my fancy camera close to hand. Ironically, I did not bring the camera with my to my mom’s house on Thursday night, thereby missing a prime opportunity to capture an image of a baby cardinal, and I’m kicking myself a bit for that. But what can you do? I’ve had plenty of camera fodder close to home lately, so I really can’t complain.
It’s a roundup of the little (and big!) moments I have captured all week. Some of these images are posted on Instagram, but many aren’t posted anywhere but here. Some days there may be no photos, and other days there may be multiples.

Google Home Mini Cozy (2019) A crocheted Google Home Mini cozy has the potential to muffle the sound, interfere with the microphone, and make it impossible to see the LEDs. In other words, it may cripple the device's ability to function as a smart speaker.
