It’s a long weekend here, and I don’t have a lot to say, except that I’m happy you are here, reading my words and flipping through my snapshots. I’m going to get off of the computer now and go do something worthy of the weekend. I hope you do the same, once you’re done here!
It’s a roundup of the little (and big!) moments I have captured all week. Some of these images are posted on Instagram, but many aren’t posted anywhere but here. Some days there may be no photos, and other days there may be multiples.
Picked up a little “light reading” from the library today.With homemade bread on the menu today, I felt like I had to step up my sandwich game. So bacon and lettuce, it was! (No tomato – none of us here like tomatoes, if you can believe it!)

The deer didn’t get all of our day lilies. A few escaped that fate, so that’s nice.

My student driver and I took his car for a long overdue bath. Last time we got this car washed was 2017 😆I must be in “rediscover old recipes” mode lately. Today it’s Grape and Cucumber Salsa. Very summery 😋
Wednesday
Working on the border this week! I had a bit of a crisis when I realized that I didn’t have enough of this bright pink to go around the whole edge, but I decided it was important enough to me that I could bend the rules and just buy more of this one color. So I did. The rest of the blanket is still entirely from my stash. It’s just a tiny cheat 😊
