This week’s photos are a little crochet-heavy, I will admit. But it’s always like that when I finish a big project. My 365 photos leading up to the completion of the project are always exclaiming how “almost done” I am, and then once the last end is woven in and the project has soaked and the fibers are all relaxed, the nice camera comes out. I had a small indoor photo shoot for this blanket, but hopefully later in the month, I can talk a few of my housemates into helping me stage a nice outdoor shoot. I am hoping to get an image that would be perfect for a pattern cover, because the Campfire Blanket is definitely the next Polka Dot Cottage pattern to be published.
Until I get a chance to blog this blanket properly, check out my Story from Tuesday below for some extra images 🙂
If Christmas were not just around the corner and taking up my spare time (and if I didn’t have a full time job I need to attend to) I could probably get this pattern published within a week. But that’s just not realistic right now. I’m aiming for early January, when there’s still plenty of winter left for you to enjoy a pile of wool on your lap. If it ends up being sooner, that will just be a nice bonus!
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Flickr and Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.

Tech Tip #2: give readers sharing tools (2013) Even if you have not signed up for all of the popular social media channels out there, chances are your readers have. Today we will focus on giving your readers the chance to spread the word across social media on your behalf. Or, as it's referred to in blogger-speak: sharing.
Not bad, for homemade (2012) Spring weekends. Something about the sunny sky and warm breeze stirs feelings of domesticity in me.
