This week was full of food and drink, and (finally) a new air conditioner.

It’s been a long time since I’ve strolled through the swamp. The animal life was disappointing today, with the exception of this butterfly, which is a kind I don’t think I’ve seen before.

Apples and peanut butter for lunch. Hopefully that’s healthy enough to make up for the chocolate cupcake I had for breakfast…
Tuesday
It took longer than it should have to get the basket, and the bike for that matter, but I finally have a spiffy bike with a roomy front basket and a POKADOT license plate. It’s even cooling off at night lately, so I can actually ride it ♥
Wednesday
Well, it’s taken all dang summer, and we’ve done our fair share of sweating, but finally the guys are here to replace the A/C. We’ve even got a new thermostat that was manufactured in the current century, which is a nice change of pace.
Thursday
I often have leftover frozen pizza for lunch, but today I made it fresh (with a premade crust) and it was nice to go to some effort for myself.

Can you call two things a collection? Because if you can, my collection of instant cameras is growing ☺. The circa 1977 Polaroid just showed up today.
