Well, that’s a relief. It’s not all crochet blankets in neutral colors this week. This week we had the pool! The beach! A new cast-on in brightly-colored yarn! And a tiny plaid sewing project. Good times.

This week started in Quincy, MA and ended at my parents’ house. In between, there was crocheting, sewing, and Jersey Fresh fruit. Basically, it was your typical middle-of-July week, which is just how I like it.

It was such a full week, between a family party, a new creative project, a long weekend getaway (that we’re still in the middle of, as I write) and a new baby in the family. It’s been one of those weeks that has felt very long – but in a good way!
