It’s a roundup of the little (and big!) moments I have captured all week. Some of these images are posted on Instagram, but many aren’t posted anywhere but here. Some days there may be no photos, and other days there may be multiples.
So much walking today. I’ve broken a personal record for number of steps, which is really impressive when you consider it rained all afternoon and I spent a few hours inside reading back issues of Taproot and watching Annika on PBS 😁. My day has been bookended by trips down the boardwalk: alone in the morning for coffee from Ocean City Coffee Company and with Neil in the evening for soft serve from Kohr’s Bros ☕🍦💗
Our last full day here started off even foggier than the previous two, if you can believe it. But then the sun pushed through, and I rented a bike from Bob’s and broke my own mileage record (it was awesome and I am pooped). I finished a pack of instant film and added to my collection of sub par snapshots 😜. There were falcons on the boardwalk again this year, sitting nicely still for pictures when they weren’t working to deter seagull aggression. And I had a delicious ice cream sandwich (coffee ice cream between two peanut butter cookies) – it was huge and a bit much for me to finish (though I did 🙊). Maybe Famous Cookie Creamery will consider selling half sandwiches sometime, LOL. P.S. I wouldn’t normally use pictures taken by someone else in these weekly roundups, but I didn’t realize I’d done that until after I’d already made the mosaic. And I really don’t want to re-do it. So, you get these two pictures of me that were taken by Neil 😁
Our 15th long weekend in Ocean City has come to an end. As usual, Neil and I easily could have talked ourselves into staying for the rest of the week. One of these years, we are going to have to do it. Maybe the 16th time will be the charm 😁. Today was the first non-foggy morning we had. I could even see my shadow on my morning walk! We played some games at Jilly’s Arcade (as has become our last day tradition), and I stopped in at Manco and Manco for a slice of pizza before we hit the road. Wow, was it ever delicious! Why did it take me so long to stop in there? 🍕 We’re home now, and it’s back to work tomorrow. *Sigh*
Remember when best friends used to use actual paper and pens to write notes to pass between classes? I have a treasure trove of notes my friend Michele sent to me when we were Sophomores in high school. I’m reading them over again, so that I can let them go. I’ll be giving them to her daughter, who is now the same age that her mom and I were when we sent them 💗

Any day now…
Thanks for helping me celebrate the week! If you want to see some of this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Instagram ♥
TWiP: Making Things (2022) It's been a creative week. I made some wash cloths for the kitchen, two new types of tools to keep in my shop, and scones from last summer's berry harvest
Google Home Mini Cozy (2019) A crocheted Google Home Mini cozy has the potential to muffle the sound, interfere with the microphone, and make it impossible to see the LEDs. In other words, it may cripple the device's ability to function as a smart speaker. I don't care about these things, though, and if you don't either, come and learn how to make a cozy for your own Mini.
TWiP: I've been drinking again (2016) This week I resurrected an old crochet project, experimented with ugly clay colors, and redesigned my handmades shop on a whim.
A pressing need (2013)
You should have seen the state of the glass end table next to my favorite chair in the living
March 19th: a photo essay (2013) One of the great things about blogging is that it keeps valuable records for me. For
Cupcakes for breakfast (2009) I'm having one of those mornings where I can't seem to force myself to do anything worthwhile.
