With a few exceptions, this week’s photos are not my best work. I was more focused on getting ready for our long-awaited weekend away than I was on getting a great shot 😀
It’s a roundup of the little (and big!) moments I have captured all week. Most of these images are posted on Instagram , but others aren’t posted anywhere but here. Some days there may be no photos, and other days there may be multiples. It’s more laid back than the Project 365s of previous years. You can learn more here 🙂
Photos taken with 📷 (Canon EOS 80D ) or 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S9 ).
TWiP Clips Here’s a very short video, featuring 1.5-second moments from the week:
Saturday Eamonn and I visited the Swamp this morning. We saw several kinds of birds, a huge old turtle, and this frog. We heard many more birds than we actually saw. It smelled like rain, and then it felt like rain, as we got completely drenched before running the long way back to the car 🤪. I’m reading #theartofmakingmemories and one of the elements of a lasting memory is that it involves as many of the senses as possible. If that’s the criteria, then it’s possible that this outing may stand apart from the other many trips to the Swamp, and we’ll remember it the next time we consider heading over there on an overcast Spring day 😁(View original post on Instagram.)
Monday Keeping the coffee warm Tuesday Front door visitor Wednesday The kids got their final vaccine shots today, while I wandered the mall and waited for them. It’s a strange feeling to be walking around such a public place indoors. I’m still not used to it. Thursday Touched up my green dye today. Our long weekend at the Jersey shore starts after work tomorrow. I am am not packed yet but I am very, very ready. Friday We are back in Ocean City, NJ! We chose to skip our annual trip last year out of an abundance of pandemic-related caution, so we are doubly happy to be back now. Some signs of the times have popped up in our absence. Story for Friday
