Historically during Week 43, I usually have photos to share from the NYS Sheep and Wool Festival, affectionately known in fiber circles as “Rhinebeck.” There was no in-person Rhinebeck this year, but I still have some yarny things to share, just the same.
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Flickr and Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.
Photos taken with 📷 (Canon EOS 80D) or 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S9).
Ready? Cast your mind back to Saturday last week…

I sometimes struggle with the more conceptual #pspicturefall prompts. I tend to default to the literal interpretation. Today’s prompt was about “openness.” This is my nearly empty, wide open shopping cart. I eventually filled it with comfortable old favorites, and a few new experiences, too.

A throwback today, to seventeen years ago, when they were adorable, wore Halloween pajamas, and actually liked it when I took pictures of them 🧡 #pspicturefall

Three planters that seem not to have gotten the memo that it’s October 💚 #pspicturefall

It was a good mail day yesterday. And last night I determined that I can hand wind roughly 800 yards of yarn per hour. There’s 3.5 hours of winding in that bowl 🧡💜❤️ #pspicturefall

Knit, knit, knit. Just the sleeves left on my #glenbarrowkal! Think I can finish before Sunday? I hope so. Last I checked, it was looking like sweater weather this weekend 🧡 #pspicturefall

Today’s prompt asks what our current muse may be. For me, it’s probably instant photography, and the quest for better color, better exposure, and instant photos I can enjoy looking at. I’m getting there. 🧡 #pspicturefall
