Well, hello there. Happy First Day of April! I hope this means the warm weather is just around the corner. March has just been far too cold! I’m ready to start leaving my winter jacket at home. Sweater weather would be really nice, I think.
I’m actually thinking of knitting a new one. It’s been on my mind lately, but I feel like it’s a bad time to start one. Given how long sweater-knitting takes, it will probably be too warm to wear the darn thing when I’m done. Still, I am tempted…
My 17-year-old son just said to me, “I had a long week: it started with a fever and ended with a root canal.” Yeah, he’s probably had better weeks than this one. Glad I’m not him 😜
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the photos I shot for Project 365 (the theme for 2017 is “words”), plus some snapshots I posted on Instagram during the previous week.

Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday
365 : 2017 84/365 – Seaweed – I lit my favorite candle, brewed a small pot of decaf, and watched a movie with Aidan, who’s under the weather tonight. I also started crocheting a new mandala during the movie, which should not surprise anyone.
Sunday
365 : 2017 85/365 – Terminal C – Neil was in sunny, warm florida for several days, but now he’s back in cloudy, cool New Jersey with the rest of us. [Taken at Newark Airport.]
Monday
365 : 2017 86/365 – Case Studies – Before my long weekend I left myself a wall of post-it notes, so I’d know where to start on Monday morning. [Taken at work.]
Tuesday
365 : 2017 87/365 – Roku – Hmmm, what shall I watch tonight?
Wednesday
365 : 2017 88/365 – Buckwheat Tea – It’s time for a cup of tea!
Thursday
365 : 2017 89/635 – Dual Action – There’s a fever-and-coughing virus going around. It got one kid early in the week, and now the second kid is down for the count.
Friday
365 : 2017 90/365 – STOP – I love the post-it note “please.” It’s always nice to have a polite mammographer 😀 [Taken at the radiologist’s office.]
Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Flickr and/or Instagram.
I may already have plans to blog about some of these things in greater detail over the coming week, but be sure to leave a comment if there’s something in particular you want to know about!
Love these pictures…all the mandalas…in spring colors! I love them all, but the first picture is my favorite!
I hope your kids feel better.
Mine too 😊 And they do, thank you!
