You may notice that the mosaic is more full this week. That’s because I’ve been working on my video-making skills and posting to Instagram every day since Tuesday.
I signed up for Xanthe Berkeley’s Handmade Film Making class this week (a few days after it officially started), devoured all of the course material in one day, and have been practicing making day-in-the-life films for the rest of the week. It’s been such fun!
The process of filming my whole day and distilling it down to 90 seconds is a bit intense, so it’s not something I am going to want to do every day once I’ve finished my seven for the class. But I think this could be an awesome idea for special occasions, day trips, vacations, or maybe a collection of clips that all follow a specific theme, or capture the character of a place I enjoy.
Plus, some of these creative shooting ideas should help me up my Instagram Stories game, which is something I’ve been wanting to do for some time.
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Flickr and Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.
Day four of seven: I took today off. It was just what I needed 😊. I baked bread, took photos around the yard, started a new crochet project, and got takeout for the four of us for dinner from @chimneyrockinn 😋.
