TWiP: Knitted bookends ⋆ Polka Dot Cottage

This week was bookended by a lot of knitting. It’s nice having things on the needles again after a bit of a break.

We got a new hand-me-down mattress today. And I've put my favorite quilt on it. And it's a beautiful Sunday afternoon with the window open and the sun streaming in. So, as you can see, I had no choice but to queue up my latest Quiet Time playlist and nap for an hour 😁 Time well spent, I say!

I am so happy with the way this little cardigan came out! The design reminds me of gears, so I'm going to call it "Cogwheel." I found some buttons in my grandmother's collection that will be perfect! It's hard to tell from the photo, but that dark color in the yoke is actually green, so the green buttons are a nice match. Pattern coming soon!

Guess what! I just happened to notice it's my 6th Instaversary! Six years ago today, I discovered that Instagram was available for Android, and though I didn't have a smartphone at the time, I I did have a tablet, and I was so excited! I was tied to WiFi, and the camera in that tablet was beyond terrible, but I found a way to make it work anyway 😁 #myyearofmornings Apr 26
