This week was hard. I could have stopped taking pictures, and maybe I should have, but I felt like this daily photo project of mine isn’t really real if I only document the good days.
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Flickr and Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.
Photos taken with 📷 (Canon EOS 80D) or 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S7).
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday

The fire alarm was going off at the hospital as we were leaving, but nobody seemed all that concerned.
Sunday

Aside from buttons, the Cogwheel Cardigan for niece three is finished! I started another one for niece two. I am looking forward to going shopping for some leggings and pretty shirts for the girls to wear with these.
Monday

Reinforcements have arrived. TEN bars of my favorite chocolate, courtesy of my husband, who is turning out to be an excellent “mother hen.”
Tuesday

The view from the hospital rooftop at night is pretty amazing.
Wednesday

I held my father’s hand this morning as he passed away, and this afternoon I helped pick out his funeral clothes. This day has been so hard.
Thursday

I’m making a collage for Dad’s funeral, but there are so many great images of him and the people he loved, it’s hard to narrow it down. I’ve been at it all day.
Friday

How do you narrow down a lifetime of wonderful moments to just 18 photos? I couldn’t do it. I sent Neil out to get another piece of posterboard so I could make two collages instead of one.
Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Flickr or Instagram ♥
Love to you Lisa. I am praying for you to have strength through this. He must have been a wonderful daddy.
He really was. Thank you so much XO
Sorry to hear about your dad’s passing. It’s difficult to lose a parent, no matter how old we are.
Peace to you.
Thanks, Amanda, I appreciate it ❤
