Global pandemic or not, we had occasions to celebrate this week! Our 25th wedding anniversary, and Eamonn’s 17th birthday. We managed to find ways to make our special days special.
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Flickr and Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.
90/366 This looks like breakfast in bed. I wish it was, and not just that I needed a place to set down the tray while I set up the work laptop on my desk 😜
This is how we celebrate 25 years in the age of coronavirus – eating Indian takeout on the floor and watching the first episode of Picard. To be honest, we might have done this even without a #stayathome order 😜 Happy #silveranniversary to us 🥂
I am still gainfully employed right now, which simultaneously makes me grateful and wistful. Grateful, because I know so many others are not so lucky. And wistful, because I have about a million creative projects I wish I could spend those forty hours on each week. At least I have the evenings. I had been spending them decluttering my bedroom, but I’m putting that project on pause for a bit and trying some mask making. I haven’t managed to sew a single stitch yet, but I’ve got the elastic prepared and some of my favorite fat quarters cut into. It’s nice to finally be putting these beautiful fabrics to good use. I’m eager to drag my sewing machine out of storage and get started!
We need to set up a page with all the crafty mask makers modeling one if their creations.
I should comb my hair and take another shot 😂
