It has been a week of ups and downs:
- UP: An enjoyable dinner with Neil’s extended family
- UP: Our 24th anniversary
- DOWN: Saying goodbye to a dear family member
- UP: Eamonn’s 16th birthday
- DOWN: Getting a nasty stomach bug
- DOWN: Having to miss the Clayathon because of said stomach bug
I never have this much going on in one week, good or bad. I have a bit of emotional whiplash. I’m tired. And, I’m going to stop writing now because I’m still sick, and I think I need a nap.
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
I inadvertantly interruped an intimate froggy moment. Didn’t even notice until I got home and looked at my pictures.(View original post on Instagram.)
Found a heart looking up at me from the murky waters of the Great Swamp.(View original Project 365 post on Flickr.)
Story for Saturday
I have spent most of this day sitting in this chair watching British mystery after British mystery while updating all of the graphics in my online shop. This is how I relax 😉(View original Project 365 post on Flickr.)
Story for Sunday
Our 24th anniversary. We usually go out for Indian food, but this year we ordered in and ate it on the family room floor. It’s just as good at home, if not better.(View original Project 365 post on Flickr.)
I have NO self control. At all. I ordered these silver bezel rings a few weeks ago so I’d have something to experiment with at the Clayathon. Only, when they arrived today, I waited less than an hour before I filled up those bezels with polymer 🙃. I either need to find a fast source for more ring blanks, or come up with something else to play with next weekend at the Clayathon. Duh.(View original post on Instagram.)
I’m that person in the office whose pen matches her gigantic ring.(View original Project 365 post on Flickr.)
My uncle and Godfather, my father’s only brother, passed away unexpectedly on Friday. He was a teddy bear of a man, with a personality that just filled any room he walked into. Today’s funeral was sad, but also a wonderful send-off that I think he would have loved.(View original Project 365 post on Flickr.)
My sister gave me this mug. Isn’t it cute?(View original Project 365 post on Flickr.)
Today was supposed to be the first day of my long weekend at the Clayathon. I’ve been so looking forward to it! But instead,I’ve had a very unpleasant stomach bug. Sigh.(View original Project 365 post on Flickr.)
