This week I finished knitting a new sweater (I’ll give that its own post next week), and started knitting the second square in the Traveling Afghan Knit-Along. It’s a nice, slow-paced low pressure project. I know it’s going to take me a year to complete it by design, so there doesn’t feel like any rush. It’s kind of a nice change from my usual projects, where I’m always in a rush because I am desperate to wear/use/give the finished object as soon as possible 🙂
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Flickr and Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.
Photos taken with 📷 (Canon EOS 80D) or 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S7).
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday

I’ve been doing the laundry again, while Neil is recovering from surgery. All of our clothes are back to smelling like honeysuckle while I’m in charge ☺
Story for Saturday
Sunday

I had a fairly productive day for a Sunday ☺ Now, I’m going to insert myself in this scene and do a little knitting.
Monday

I don’t usually get stuck waiting for the train to pass. Unless I’m already late. In that case the train always comes by and makes me even later.

Tuesday

Square two of the Traveling Afghan knitalong in progress.
Wednesday

Wasn’t I just in this same room, doing this same thing, three days ago?

I really like the crochet version of the second block, too, so I’m thinking I might make one of those, too, if I have time before the third block is revealed.
This blanket is going to be essentially monochromatic. I’m using all of my stash blue-greens 💙💚
Thursday

I was running an errand on my lunch hour, and next thing I knew I was taking myself out for pizza. It was good.
Friday

There’s an accidental heart in my coffee.
Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Flickr or Instagram ♥
