This week I finished knitting a new sweater (I’ll give that its own post next week), and started knitting the second square in the
Traveling Afghan Knit-Along. It’s a nice, slow-paced low pressure project. I know it’s going to take me a year to complete it by design, so there doesn’t feel like any rush. It’s kind of a nice change from my usual projects, where I’m always in a rush because I am desperate to wear/use/give the finished object as soon as possible 🙂
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Flickr and Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.
Photos taken with 📷 (

Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday 25/366 I’ve been doing the laundry again, while Neil is recovering from surgery. All of our clothes are back to smelling like honeysuckle while I’m in charge ☺ (View original Project 365 post on Flickr.) Story for Saturday Sunday 26/366 I had a fairly productive day for a Sunday ☺ Now, I’m going to insert myself in this scene and do a little knitting. (View original Project 365 post on Flickr.) Monday 27/366 I don’t usually get stuck waiting for the train to pass. Unless I’m already late. In that case the train always comes by and makes me even later. (View original Project 365 post on Flickr.) It’s the ever-popular new-sweater Monday morning bathroom selfie 😁 (View original post on Instagram.) Tuesday 28/366 Square two of the Traveling Afghan knitalong in progress. (View original Project 365 post on Flickr.) Wednesday 29/366 Wasn’t I just in this same room, doing this same thing, three days ago? (View original Project 365 post on Flickr.) Some #travelingafghans progress to share. The first block (basket weave) is done. The second one, which has a lace pattern is over halfway there. It’s going to need some serious blocking 😁 I really like the crochet version of the second block, too, so I’m thinking I might make one of those, too, if I have time before the third block is revealed. This blanket is going to be essentially monochromatic. I’m using all of my stash blue-greens 💙💚 (View original post on Instagram.) Thursday 30/366 I was running an errand on my lunch hour, and next thing I knew I was taking myself out for pizza. It was good. (View original Project 365 post on Flickr.) Friday 31/366 There’s an accidental heart in my coffee. (View original Project 365 post on Flickr.)
