Summertime, and the livin’ is easy.
If I didn’t have to work, it would be even easier 😜
As it was, though, I packed plenty of Good into this week. Time with both sides of the family, knitting, swimming, picture-taking… Good stuff.

Crystal clear water on a 90-degree day. I stayed in the pool for a glorious two hours this afternoon.

Two of my nieces on the swings at a family party today.
Monday
I’ve been doing a lot of this lately, and I hate it somewhat less than I thought I would.

Almost time to separate the sleeves.

Houston, we have sleeve holes!
Thursday
My mother always has interesting lilies at her house. This one has ruffles and a soft buttery color.
Friday
It seemed like a good day for some Starbucks knitting and a less-than-healthy lunch of a butter croissant and a peppermint mocha frappuccino. I have no regrets.
