I have gotten tired of waiting for my laptop to catch up with my brain and my fingers, and I finally bought a new computer. It’s coming some time this afternoon, so I think my weekend it going to be a bit of a nerdy one, while I get it all set up. Nerdy is just how I roll, though, so this is not going to be a problem for me!
I have been putting off this purchase for some time because I don’t really have the spare cash in the ol’ Polka Dot Cottage account, but I just couldn’t wait any longer. Neil dropped off some books at the used book store a few days ago, and was kind enough to share his proceeds with me, so I could buy it right away, but I still find the PDC coffers to be uncomfortably low.
To that end, I’m running a Big Sale this weekend, where everything (EVERYTHING!) is 25% off. So, if you’ve been putting off those bangle bracelets or a copy of Polka Dot Cottage Sweaters, now would be a good time to jump on that 🙂

I guess it’s safe to say here, since I doubt they’ll see it – it’s going to be a baby blanket for my brother and his wife. They’re expecting in October 🙂
