I am not usually so inspired to do clay things at this time of year. As you may be aware, it takes me years – literal years – to get in the mood to make ornaments. And then once I commit to that, when it’s over, I generally don’t want anything more to do with polymer for a few months.
But this year, I finished my ornament-making and went straight into jewelry. It’s not pictured here, but I’ve also been playing around with resin and polymer combinations. I haven’t had many results that are nice-looking enough to share. Yet. Maybe next week 🙂
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the little (and big!) moments I have captured all week. Some of these images are posted on Instagram, but many aren’t posted anywhere but here. Some days there may be no photos, and other days there may be multiples. It’s more laid back than the Project 365s of previous years. You can learn more here 🙂
Photos taken with 📷 (Canon EOS 80D) or 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S9).

Here’s a very short video, featuring 1.5-second moments from the week:

Monday

I have a chunky bracelet, if I’m in that mood, and a chunky ring, if I’m not. I have a big barrette if I clip my hair up, and a tiny barrette, if I don’t. And I have dangly earrings if it feels like that kind of day, and stud earrings if it doesn’t. I’m covered for all eventualities, LOL.

Story for Monday
Wednesday

(Actually, I love this sweater. It’s nice to pull comfy old friends out of the closet as the seasons change, isn’t it?)
Thursday

Two more days until the end-of-year vacation I’ve been banking extra work hours for begins! I can’t wait for my two weeks away from the (home) office 🤩
