I evicted the sewing machine from the dining room this week and pulled out my claythings for the Fall making season. As you may have already read, I’m making custom crochet hooks again. Also pens. And buttons.
[subliminal message: think holiday gift-giving for your crafty friends!]
This year I am also introducing something else I think is kinda cool: Knitting Loom Tools!
Unlike crochet hooks, loom picks are not readily-available at your local craft shop in a large array of colors, sizes and styles. If you can find them, you usually end up with the generic Knifty Knitter purple-handled pick. I don’t really enjoy being generic, so I designed my own loom pick, complete with a polymer clay handle.
I made this entire tool from scratch, rather than covering an existing tool.
What do you think, loom-knitting friends? If you’d like me to make you a unique pick, just hop on over here. I’d be happy to custom-make you one!
Oh, and crocheting friends? Do you like your hooks really, really tiny? I spent some time playing with steel hooks yesterday, and found a reliable method for adding handles to their slender bones. So! I’ve added options to order steel hook sizes, too. Check it out.
Thanks in advance for your orders, and for spreading the word to any of your yarn-obsessed friends who might be interested!
Hi,
I am looking to get maybe a couple of weaving hooks in different sizes. Do you still do them? I can’t find any nice handcrafted ones like yours any where!!!
Thanks so much
