I’m realizing that there is a noticeable relationship between the number of creative show-and-tell posts I make and how caught-up I am with orders and shipping. Take this week, in fact. I haven’t made one single little pretty thing to show you. But my mailbox only has about four orders in it that need my attention. (Four is an easy, manageable number, in case you hadn’t guessed.)

I’m happy to report that packing and shipping are back on schedule – woo hoo! Unfortunately I must also report that my creativity has tanked.

Supplies

Is this what it has come to? Have I been reduced to showing you piles of unused craft supplies as a substitute for finished projects? Rolling Eyes Here is a pile of fabric that will someday become a birthday gift for my mother. (Oh, by the way, I’m now more than three weeks late on said birthday gift, so if somebody would like to pass the Bad Daughter Award my way, that would be great. Thanks.)

Supplies

These silver trinkets are waiting to be paired with clay and made into pendants for my new Carnival Collection. I’ve decided that collection is going to be somewhat diverse, but will be unified by the prominent use of silver neckwires, handmade earwires, and other silver findings. Of course, right now it’s all just a pile of metal. Someday…

Workspace

Someday when I’ve cleaned up this table. The rest of the house is astonishingly clean this week, but my work table (aka, the dining room table) looks like my muse threw up on it. I’ve got to stop feeding her all that snack food…
