I originally designed and made this little stroller blanket for my new niece (she’s not born yet, but any day now…) and of course I took plenty of photos and scribbled down plenty of notes as I went, because I knew I’d want to share.
You can get all of the back story here, but in a nutshell: it took me so long to figure out a suitable design, that I had very little time for actual crocheting before the baby shower. This is why it’s stroller sized and not crib sized. But you know what? Babies start out pretty small. This is more than big enough to cover a newborn.
It’s a great size for a stroller ride, or to put over the car seat while taking a drive.
And if you have all the time in the world to make it bigger, you can do that, too! Thanks to the wonders of Photoshop, I can show you what that would look like 🙂
As usual, the pattern is available by itself for those of you who know your way around a crochet hook, and with a full photo tutorial for those of you who need a little more guidance.
If you buy the pattern and later decide that you need more help, there is a coupon code included that will effectively refund the initial pattern purchase when you buy the tutorial.

If you don’t want to crochet this blanket yourself, I hope you’ll pass this along to your crafty friends! Thanks ♥
Great pattern! I am crazy for circles right now. I especially like the occasional all neutral blocks. Sometime you are just in the mood for quieter colors. Like this a lot!
