Do you ever look at the “SAME WEEK PREVIOUS YEARS” section at the end of these TWiP posts? I do, every week. I like to see how things change from year to year, and (on a more fascinating note), what stays the same.
For example, if you compare this week to the same week last year, you’ll see a fire in the fireplace, an attempt to make my desk at work more cozy with my choice of background images, and a trip to the airport. (The airport is not in my photos this week, but it is in my stories). If you go back further, this is a popular week for crocuses and crochet.
Unlike previous years, though, 2019’s Week 12 has seen me thinking a lot about polymer clay, new millefiori canes I want to try, and jewelry I want to make. I threw together a few prototypes, in fact, using canes I already have. It’s all about the rings for me lately. You’ll see more of that, if you watch the stories.
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.
Photos taken with 📷 (Canon EOS 80D) or 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S7).
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday

I love having meals out of tiny bowls because they look so big, filling, and artsy, even when they’re only last night’s leftover half hamburger from the diner.
Sunday

Today has been all about ferrying people back and forth, and satisfying my creative urges. The latter has resulted in a prototype polymer clay ring.

Wednesday

I guess it’s time to start listening to my Spring playlists on my commute again.

Thursday

While I do wish that it was not cold and rainy outside, a nice cozy fire inside is a reasonable consolation prize.

Friday

Every once in a while I look up from my desk and see that the sky has gone from rainy and gray to really pretty.
