I hate to be a cliche, but there’s a storm approaching, and it’s just occurred to me that I might be happier this weekend if I had some milk in the house. Hunkering down by the fireplace with the cable-knit scarf I’m working on and a nice cup of Earl Gray tea sounds really appealing, in fact. Guess I’m off to the store. Hope they have some milk left at this point…
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.
Photos taken with 📷 (Canon EOS 80D) or 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S7).
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday

I think maybe the way to keep myself from being too bummed about working on Saturdays is to focus on the positives. So on this second week, I will say, it’s really nice to be here alone for the first few hours, leave the fluorescent lights off, and work by the natural light streaming through the windows.

Sunday

Sunday knitting, buckwheat tea, and The Handmaid’s Tale
Monday

Another cold morning. It’s so nice to get inside and wrap my hands around a hot mug of coffee ☕
Tuesday

My street at dusk.
Wednesday

Knitting and a croissant for lunch.
Thursday

I returned one of my Christmas gifts that wasn’t working out and got myself a Google Home Hub. And so tonight has been about re-arranging my other assistants and speakers and such in order to find the best spots for everything, musically, aesthetically, and functionally. Nerd fun 🤓
Friday

The view out my office window, and a tiny preview of what’s to come this weekend.
Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Flickr or Instagram ♥
