What was that I said about needing a bigger one?
Gotta love those instant-gratification sewing projects.
This Amy Butler cozy looks lovely on my new coffee press travel mug (which I totally love – who knew on-the-go coffee pressing would make me so happy?). I like that it covers up most of the writing on the side of the cup.
I have the cozified mug sitting on my kitchen counter, which is great, but you know what having pretty summer florals in my kitchen in November is doing to me?? I am this close to making a coffee cozy for every season, you know, to go with the napkins. And the aprons. And the table mats.
I really am out of my mind, aren’t I?
I comfort myself with the fact that you, too, must be somewhat off your rocker to keep coming back here and reading my crazy thoughts.
craziness has nothing to do with it. it is all about having enough savy sense to understand that there must be matching of everything! and it is soo much nicer to stare blankly at a pretty fabric in the morning than notes on the side of the cup– -even if mine only holds hot cocoa 🙂
If you say we’re not crazy, that’s good enough for me 🙂
And so far, I have resisted the urge to get all matchy-matchy and more more cozies. So far.
Love this new one Lisa! I like the idea of covering up the words on the side of the mug with something as pretty and as functional as this. May have to break out my sewing machine!
It’s funny, but this has made me look at a few of my other mugs in a new light. I may have to make a custom-shaped one to cover up an annoying Hershey Park logo on a travel mug I picked up at a garage sale a few years ago. Love the mug, but have always been irritated by the cartooney hershey kiss waving at me!
