Red, orange, brown gold. Those are the colors I would have named as “fall colors” if you had asked me in the past. But more and more, I am feeling like purple belongs in there, too.

This week started with a mini vacation for me, and continued on with efforts to get back into some semblance of a productive daily routine. Results have been mixed.

This past week saw us buying a used car, spending Labor Day with family enjoying what may be the last dip in the pool of the season, and getting back into the school thing.

As much as the faded, vintage look appeals to me in other people’s stuff, I find that I almost always prefer my own images to be vibrant and realistic. I think this week’s mosaic proves that.
