So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Flickr and Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 and any other extra images I may have posted.
Photos taken with 📷 (Canon EOS 80D) or 📱 (Samsung Galaxy S7).
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday

Saturday hours today, made much more enjoyable by my cubicle decorations and the ability to crank up the Handel’s Messiah choruses I was playing to three times my normal work music volume. One of the perks of being alone in the office.

Sunday

I don’t usually put marshmallows in my hot chocolate, but these are peppermint mini marshmallows, so clearly I have no choice.
Monday

It’s been a long time since we re-arranged this little corner. I’m still not quite satisfied with it, but I’m going to live with it like this for a while and wait for a new idea to come to me.
Tuesday

I really should work on this little sweater, but this is the third one of these, and I’m getting a little bit bored. I may just watch The Crown and not knit a single stitch.
Wednesday

Well, if it has to snow, this is the way to do it – sticking prettily to the trees, but not messing up the roads at all.
Thursday

As of this morning, I am the proud new owner of Dad’s car. I don’t get a new car very often, so it’s always a thrill when it happens. This time it’s also very emotional for me. The first time I saw this car, my parents had come to visit, and we were standing in my driveway, looking it over. Dad was so funny as he showed me how he could lock and unlock the car just by touching it, as long as they keys were in his pocket. He seemed very tickled by that. It’s a happy memory for me. So, I already love this car, and I feel Dad with me every time I tap my thumbs on the steering wheel to the beat of the music. Just like he used to do ♥
Friday

For someone who has always preferred dark or bright-colored vehicles, I sure have a lot of white ones in my driveway right now 😁
Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Flickr or Instagram ♥
Lisa, always love your WIPs. What a lovely way to capture moments in the span of your year. Every week, documented in meaningful images. I, too, lost my Dad this year (May). Sending hugs and wishes for peace, comfort, hope and a full emotional capacity to remember the blessings of your own Dad’s presence in your life all these years. He and you were gifts to each other, and to your mom – may your memories continue to bring joy to you both. Have a sweet Christmas!
Thank you so much, that was really sweet. I wish the same for you!
