That’s ten new playlists this year, ranging in style from bedtime music, to work-friendly instrumentals, to classic tunes from the 60’s through the 90’s, to current indie pop/rock and alternative mixes. My taste can be a bit eclectic.

The Sheep and Wool Festival was last weekend, and it seems like a very long time ago already. I wish I had blogged about it earlier so it would all be fresh in my mind, but I think that the photos and captions do enough to convey what kind of weekend we had. So, we’re a day and a half late this week, and I’m ok with that. Instead of spending my Saturday morning writing this roundup, I spent it in a cozy little cabin in Esopus, NY, sipping coffee and getting ready for the Sheep and Wool Festival. Now that I’m back, though, I show you the granny square cowl that occupied my thoughts (and my hook) all week.

It’s a Cardigan you can wear Everyday

Gray Tweed Everyday Cardigan

There’s a reason why I named this pattern the Everyday Cardigan. It’s the perfect, non-fussy design to wear to work over a blouse, to put on over a t-shirt while hanging out at home, or to pair with a swingy knit dress for a weekend party. I’ve knit several, but this is only the second one I’m keeping for myself. It’s tweedy, and exactly what I was looking for!
