I have two show-and-tell posts I have been wanting to write, and a new playlist to share, so I think instead of spending time on a witty introduction to this week’s post, I’ll just save my writing time for those other more meaty subjects.
Enjoy this week’s pictures!
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the photos I shot for Project 365 (the theme for 2017 is “words”), plus some snapshots I posted on Instagram during the previous week.

Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday
365 📱: 2017 28/365 – Warning Open Pits – Aidan and I enjoyed this sign while we were waiting for an oil change. [Taken at Grease Monkey.]
Sunday
365 📷: 2017 29/365 – Dear 2017, Please don’t be bad – Time for a new mix CD! (You can listen at 8tracks.com/lclarke522/dear-2017 if you like.)
Monday
365 📷: 2017 30/365 – Honeysuckle Herbal Tea – I love honeysuckle, but I think I need to stick to perfume. This stuff isn’t tea so much as honeysuckle-tinged sugar granules. Ick. Waaaay too sweet for me. Aidan likes it, though, so at least it won’t go to waste.
Tuesday
365 📱: 2017 31/365 – Stirling Hotel – Today was Neil’s last day at his old job, and tomorrow he starts his career as a full-time editor, working for himself. We thought a little celebration was in order, so we cashed in his birthday gift card for dinner. [Taken at The Stirling Hotel.]
Wednesday
365 📷: 2017 31/365 – There are words on here, so technically it fits the theme, but it really makes very little sense. Eamonn adds new stuff every couple of days. I think it might be time to literally wipe the slate clean soon.
Thursday
365 📱: 2017 33/365 – Do Not Stop on Tracks – This railroad crossing is my nemesis. I thought I left the house early enough to get through it this morning, but I think the train showed up early just to spite me 😉 [Taken at the Millington Train Station.]
Friday
365 📱: 2017 34/365 – Order new glasses – Reminders for my lunch hour… [Taken at work.]
Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Flickr and/or Instagram.
I may already have plans to blog about some of these things in greater detail over the coming week, but be sure to leave a comment if there’s something in particular you want to know about!
