I’m feeling very much like I am neglecting the lot of you here. What’s funny is that I am actually spending quite a bit of time on this website, but you’d never know it by checking the blog. I’ve been working on behind the scenes stuff, shop stuff, breaking links, fixing them again, yadda, yadda, yadda.
I was going to tell you all about it, but then I got so bored reading what I wrote that I deleted all four paragraphs.
And then I wrote four more paragraphs about something else I did this week, and deleted them, too. Yawn-inducing.
My ability to string compelling thoughts together eludes me at the moment.
I am just going to let the pictures do the talking. They are worth a thousand words, or so they say.
Ahh, that felt good. I should really shut up and just post pictures more often.
And now I must go. I have Very Important Plans tonight: I’ll be standing by the kitchen window, breathing in the beautiful September night air, and brewing myself a cup of something warm. I’ve got a handmade blanket to crawl under and a few sweater rows to knit before I sleep.
I love September nights.
September is my favorite too. It would be even better with one of those cupcakes!
I made them for my Dad’s birthday this past weekend 🙂 There’s a recipe here somewhere… Ah yes, here it is!
I hear ya! Last night I was writing a recipe and decided it was so simple that I could just use photos. Of course, I haven’t done that either. . . The necklace is beautiful and I love the fourth picture! Take care, Byrd
Thank you! I’ve decided to sell these necklaces, too, as long as I’m in the mood to be doing claythings these days 🙂
It’s good to be handy with a camera on those days when words just seem too, uh, wordy 🙂
October is my flavorite month!! You make September sound good as well. Although here in Missouri we have a few warm days, warm for me. I like highs in the 60’s or less 🙂 Menopuase….
I’m not there yet, LOL! But I do love highs in the 60’s. I love summer weather, too, but by the time September rolls around, I’m ready to put on a sweater and enjoy a little chill. I just wish it stayed there for a while. All too soon, we’re looking at 40’s and 30’s. Ick.
PS….love the necklaces!!
The cupcakes look amazing, you make me so jealous with your knitting & crochet skillz (I’ll get there someday!), & you are my fall sister! LOVE these cool days!
Aw, you can do it! I have only been crocheting a year, and knitting for three! It just takes the proper motivation. And some good online videos to explain what your fingers should be doing when you can’t for the life of you figure it out. (That last one is key for me!)
