We went from 7F degrees at the beginning of the week to 64F degrees at the end! It’s crazy time. (And as I type, the temperature is taking another downward dive.) There was snow, and freezing rain, and just plain rain in there, too. This week’s photos are about the weather, but also about how I spend my time when I’m avoiding that weather.
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the microblogging I’ve done on Instagram all week. This includes photos I shot for Project 365 (the theme for 2018 is mornings: #myyearofmornings2018) and any other extra images I may have posted.

Unsubscribing because of the use of the word (schizophrenic) to describe the weather. Schizophrenia is a mental health term. Offensive to those ill in this way and their families/carers.
Thank you.
I wish that you would not use the term “schizophrenic” in any way other than as the medical term for a very serious and often fatal brain disorder. My son lived with this disease and took his own life as a result of it. Lisa, I am certain that you intended no harm or offense in using the term as you have. Mental health advocates such as myself believe that we have an obligation to sufferers and their familiesto educate people about mental health issues.
You are correct. I indeed meant no harm, and I have removed the word entirely from the post. Thank you for educating me on this. I am sincerely sorry for your terrible loss.
I am sorry. I was unaware, and I have changed the post.
Great pictures! Your sweater looks fun. My mouth always waters for a cup of coffee after I read your post. I think I will just go get a cup as I look outside at the beautiful SNOW!!!! YES we finally got 3 inches yesterday. Love, love it
Oh, I’m so glad to hear you got the snow you wanted! Ours completely melted away on Friday, but I’m sure there will be more.
