If I didn’t know better…

Remember this from 1.5 years ago?  It was the first time we’d had any major damage to one of our cars.  The door was replaced within a week, though, and all was right with the vehicular world.

Well, if I didn’t know better, I’d say there was a god of van doors, and that he had it in for us.  This – the second time we’ve had any major damage to one of our cars – happened on Neil‘s way home from Maryland last night.  I am, of course, glad that nobody was hurt in this little fender-bender, but, geez!

By the time we’re ready to sell this poor vehicle (which I still love, despite the apparent target on its back), the CARFAX report is going to be a mile long…

  1. So funny. (Not exactly funny ha-ha.) 3 weeks after I got my car, I got rear-ended. Nobody hurt, bumper replaced. Last week, I got rear-ended by a stretch limo. Nobody hurt, still playing insurance phone tag, but the bumper is likely to be replaced again. Before this, I’d never been rear-ended in any vehicle. Now I’m starting to wonder if I have a secret “Hit Me Here” bumper sticker!

    1. That’s funny, too. If I believed in that sort of thing, I’d say some cars are just cursed!

  2. Aw, bummer. I’m glad everyone’s alright, but that is a pain.

    1. Thank goodness for excellent insurance 🙂

  3. I am sorry to read of your car woes. I just found your blog today and have enjoyed reading it very much. I LOVE your seasonal napkins. I plan on making some myself!
