As of this writing, it's January of 2012. I've spent the last two years evaluating the earning potential of the various advertising networks and affiliate programs to which I belong, and I've come to the conclusion that affiliate programs don't work for me here. With a few exceptions. So, I've removed nearly all of them from this list. What remains: the one or two that actually make me a little something each month, the ones I enjoy shopping through, and the ones that that are doing good things in the world. Those last two types rarely make me any money, but I like them, so they can stay.
