TWiP: So Behind

This Week in Pictures, Week 46, 2021

I am soooooo behind in these TWiP posts lately! I have been spending my weekends on polymer clay and knitting, and sometimes not even opening the laptop between Friday night and Monday morning, and TWiP is suffering.

Future readers will not notice anything amiss, because I always adjust the publication date to reflect when my posts are supposed to appear. So I won’t go on and on about it here (as it will be largely irrelevant down the line).

I just wish I could get my act together here a little bit better. It seems weird to be posting photos from before Thanksgiving, as everything in the Real World is coming up Christmas, you know? 🙂

So, what is This Week in Pictures?

It’s a roundup of the little (and big!) moments I have captured all week. Some of these images are posted on Instagram, but many aren’t posted anywhere but here. Some days there may be no photos, and other days there may be multiples. It’s more laid back than the Project 365s of previous years. You can learn more here 🙂

Saturday

Feeling some real fall vibes today. I took this picture in the Starbucks parking lot right before heading down the highway. The sky on my drive was that gorgeous periwinkle blue that happens before a storm rolls in, and the fiery orange leaves were swirling in the wind, blowing off of the trees and into my windshield. Mother nature’s complementary color game is so on point at this time of year 😍. I can’t get enough.
In other news, I got a haircut yesterday. My first significant haircut in almost two years. Four inches off and some layers. It needed it 😁

Sunday

So many colors in one plant 🧡💛💚

Monday

I’m making an effort to eat healthier lunches. Often this has been a honeycrisp apple dipped in flax + chia seed peanut butter. Delicious and filling.

Tuesday

I’m making Chicken Murphy tonight, and I spent my lunch hour browning the various components, so they’re ready to put together later. It’s been fun to get back in the kitchen lately.

Friday

I’ve noticed that at this time of year, there’s sun on my desk in the late afternoon
