So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the photos I shot with my DSLR for Project 365 (one image each day for all of 2015), plus some phone snapshots I posted on Instagram during the previous week.
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday
365: 2015 255/365 – Yep, I’m that mom who drives her kid an hour away to meet an internet friend, and then sits in the car alone with a book and a hot dog, while the kids enjoy the local festival. (And a good time was had by all.) [in Cranbury, NJ]
Sunday
365: 2015 256/365 – Sunday morning I woke up here, alone: a comfortable hotel 25 minutes from home. Gotta love last-minute Priceline deals. From there I took myself to the NJ Sheep and Fiber Festival for some more Me Time 🙂 [at the Bridgewater Marriott]
365: 2015 257/365 – I have an unprecedented (for me) number of projects in progress right now. This one is a little prototype sweater for a pattern I want to write, featuring some subtle colorwork in the yoke.
Tuesday
365: 2015 258/365 – I haven’t really been in a picture-taking mood these last few days, but today, I was inspired by the light coming through the colored glass. It almost seemed to glow!
Wednesday
365: 2015 259/365 – I’m still playing with the luminous blue light coming from this pitcher of flowers…
Thursday
365: 2015 260/365 – Hey, here’s something completely different: knitting and watching a mystery on Netflix. Oh, wait.
Friday
365: 2015 261/365 – This day is being brought to you by the color Turquoise.
Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Flickr and/or Instagram.
I may already have plans to blog about some of these things in greater detail over the coming week, but be sure to leave a comment if there’s something in particular you want to know about!
Great trip!! Love the photos and projects and colors. Eager to see. . .
Love all those colours! I’m intrigued by that possible new pattern!
Oohh, the sheep and fiber festival sounds like so much fun!! I like the yarn! I don’t know…hats? Sounds unoriginal, but that is what my boys usually like…love the flowers in the blue vase. 🙂
