I’m riding a real high here tonight (Thursday). For one thing, it was 63 degrees and sunny this afternoon. That alone is enough to send me over the moon after the Winter That Will Not End. But on top of that, I found a great pair of jeans. Many of you probably know what a feat that is! For me, if the jeans fit nicely in the uh, posterior, region, they are too small in the waist. And if they fit in the waist, they are saggy-bottomed. I hate that saggy bottom look, but I also hate being rudely bisected by my waistband every time I sit down. Ugh. Today, though, I found a pair of jeans that hugs my butt and doesn’t strangle my waist. I’m in heaven. And did I mention they were 50% off? Heaven indeed!

- botanical letters – shared by angry chicken. Amy Karol and her daughters made some beautiful botanical letters from a tutorial they found on the internet. Amy shares a link to the tutorial as well as images of her girls’ finished initials. They’re really pretty!
- Canning 101: Why Do Colors Change in Home Canned Foods? – information from Food in Jars. This is pretty handy. I’ve thrown out discolored homemade jam before, but maybe I didn’t need to. If you like to can, check out this guide.
- Homemade Dryer Sheets – a how-to from View From The Fridge. I came across this (or something just like it) a while ago and I never acted on it. I really should, though – it can’t be simpler to do! All you need is vinegar, a favorite essential oil, and some fabric scraps.
