It’s a beautiful, slightly breezy, 76-degree morning, perfect for a cup of Irish Breakfast tea, shortbread cookies, and the laptop by an open window.
After I’ve unwound here a bit, I’ll be ready to really kick off the day – a day that I hope to fill with handmade skirt-wearing, flea market-going, and hand-holding at a local carnival.
Maybe I’ll take a few pictures, clean a few rooms, and sew a few stitches. Perhaps I’ll raid a roadside market for fresh strawberries, or visit the library to pick out an enticing children’s book that I can start reading to the boys before bed.
Summer Saturdays, so sweet and full of promise. What’s on the horizon for you today?
I “stumbled upon” your blog today, and I’m so glad I did! I’ll definitely be back to visit, and may have to save up for one of your adorable purses!
THanks, April, and welcome!
Gonna be nosy and ask….Is that a prenatal vitamin between the cookies? Are congrats in order? Did I miss something?
Nah, just a regular old multi-vitamin. No bun in this oven! 😀
