Normally, you would not hear about skee ball in the same sentence as quiet time. Have you ever had a quiet game of skee ball? No, me neither. There is one context, however, in which it makes perfect sense to put them together: when you’re talking about my latest musical playlists 😁
And hey, good news! Remember how 8tracks had to impose listening limits a while back, so you could only hear about half of a mix before you were cut off? Well, that’s all over now. So, feel free to listen to both of these playlists with wild abandon!
Skee Ball at the Shore Volume 3
Skee Ball at the Shore is a series I began in 2014, featuring a collection of tunes from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. Heavy on the 70s. Volume 3 is pretty much the same as the previous two volumes. If you’re my age, it might remind you of time spent in the back seat during family road trips.
Quiet Time 9
It’s been 2 years since my last Skee Ball mix, so it’s understandable if you don’t remember that series. Quiet Time, on the other hand, is a whole other story. These mixes seem to make themselves every 3 months or so. This is Volume 9, and while I’m tempted to say this may be the last, I did say that 6 volumes ago, so…
Just like its siblings, this Quiet Time volume starts off with an instrumental, and continues with a mix of old and new peaceful tunes that play for about an hour. It’s perfect for bed time or any time that you want to relax.
Enjoy the music!
