I need to let the pictures speak for themselves this week. It’s Friday night as I write this, and I am late for a date with my 16-year-old, some knitting, and an episode of Scarecrow and Mrs. King ☺
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the photos I shot for Project 365 (one image each day for all of 2016), plus some snapshots I posted on Instagram during the previous week.
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Instagram 📱: Good morning, Instagram ☕💋 [Taken at the Long Hill Library.]
365 📱: 2016 310/366 – Just a few hours into my first craft fair in 6 years, and I’ve already made more sales than I did at that last event all those years ago. [Taken at the Long Hill Library.]
365 📱: 2016 311/366 – My family has been taking turns coming to hang out at my table. Today I have the pleasure of my 13-year-old’s company. [Taken at the Long Hill Library.]
Instagram 📱: Good Morning Instagram ☕ I desperately need a day off. This is going to be that day 😊. First things first: coffee and almond biscotti for breakfast!
Instagram 📱: Oh! And I think it’s a good time to start the sleeves on my Christmas #pdcportholepullover too. I’ve got 3 PBS dramas to catch up on, so there should be some nice #knitting progress today.
365 📷: 2016 312/366 – Well, my craft show is over, and I’m really pleased with how it went! I’m tired, though, and I really, really don’t want to clean up this mess…
365 📷: 2016 313/366 – My shiny shoes and I cast our vote today, and we feel really good about our choice.
Instagram 📱: I finished my Christmas #pdcportholepullover and I love it! I added all of the optional shaping, so it fits nicely with my curves ❤ I don’t want to wait until Christmas to wear this… #pdc
365 📷: 2016 314/366 – So, spoiler alert: there’s a surprise twist at the end of Election 2016. I give it two emphatic thumbs down. The sky here is dark and foreboding, and it kind of feels that way in my head right now, too. I needed to open a new bag of coffee this morning, so I’ve reached for the Bright Sky Blend in an effort to feel even a hint of optimism about everything that has transpired in the last 24 hours. I’ll let you know when it’s started to work.
Instagram 📱: This afternoon I am grateful for the luxury of distractions: stripes in progress, corny TV, a new bottle of nail polish, and three cups of coffee.
Instagram 📱: It’s a beautiful day 😊
365 📷: 2016 315/366 – So the new Starbucks holiday cups are out. I’ve been staying away from the news for the last few days, so I don’t know if anyone is outraged about these yet 😉
Instagram 📱: The kids were in the mood to go out somewhere today, so I said, “how about clay shopping?” 😊 I’ve got two new color schemes in mind, and they are both going to feature pinks to some degree, since my current repertoire is so heavy on the blues and greens. #pdc #polymerclay #polyform #premosculpey
365 📷: 2016 316/366 – Hi. It’s time for me to pull supper out of my, er, I mean, time for me to prepare a lovingly-made meal for my family.
I may already have plans to blog about some of these things in greater detail over the coming week, but be sure to leave a comment if there’s something in particular you want to know about!
