I’m sorry. The pictures this week are not in the least bit diverse. I did try near the end of the week, but it was a case of too little too late. The thing is, if you spend an inordinate amount of time in one particular spot, you’re not going to have much else to photograph aside from that one particular spot, you know?
Better luck next time. Maybe I’ll try leaving the house or something 😉
So, what is This Week in Pictures?
It’s a roundup of the photos I shot with my DSLR for Project 365 (one image each day for all of 2015), plus some phone snapshots I posted on Instagram during the previous week.
Ready? Cast your mind back to this time last week…
Saturday
365: 2015 332/365 – I don’t really care what’s on the outside of the cup. It’s the blonde roast on the inside that makes me happy ☕
Sunday
365: 2015 333/365 – I’ve been experimenting with new ways to build the Afghan Cane. On the right is the original (very fiddly) way. In the middle is an easier way, but I think it looks too messy. On the left is the easiest way yet that I came up with last night, but I think it’s too squared-off to be realistic, and the texture lines are too straight. Too bad… it was so much easier!
Monday
365: 2015 334/365 – I’m taking a quick break from my usual claywork to focus for a moment on button-making. I have to mix just the right shades of pink and cream for these little sweaters-in-progress. (The sweaters are prototypes for a new knitting pattern that I have been very sporadically working on over the last several months.)
Tuesday
365: 2015 335/365 – Some after supper knitting: working on the second sleeve on this little cardigan. For such a small sweater, I sure am taking my time getting to the finish line!
Wednesday
365: 2015 336/365 – It’s a very blue workspace this afternoon!
Thursday
365: 2015 337/365 – I thought you might be tired of all of the pictures of my workspace lately, so I stepped out the back door and took a snap of the sky. All of the leaves are gone. Definitely December.
Friday
365: 2015 338/365 – I ran out of yellow ink in my printer, so my new CD cover is pink and blue instead of red and green 😉
Thanks for taking a peek at this week’s photos! If you want to see this stuff as it happens, please feel free to follow me on Flickr and/or Instagram.
I may already have plans to blog about some of these things in greater detail over the coming week, but be sure to leave a comment if there’s something in particular you want to know about!
