Weekend Favorites

This has been the week of Getting Nothing Done. Between the holiday on Monday, the snow storm on Tuesday, the snow-related school closure on Wednesday, the errands I had to run on Thursday… well, very little has been done on that eBook I am eager to finish.

I said I’d have it ready by Monday, and I’m still aiming for that, but I had really hoped I’d already be done!

I’m just going with the flow over here, and hoping that flow carries me into Monday with a completed eBook and a knit-along blog post to go with it!

Wish me luck…

[edited: I wrote this post last night, but I forgot to schedule it to post this morning – oops! I’m writing from my son’s laptop because about half an hour after I finished up this post, I dumped coffee into my laptop. Oh, joy! So, that writing I was going to do this weekend? Seriously in jeopardy. Much of my work is backed up in Dropbox, so it’s not a total loss, even if my computer turns out to be toast. But while I’m waiting for it to dry out, I have no access to the tools that will allow me to format my eBook, even though the data is still accessible. So. If the laptop is still working when I try it this evening, we should be on for Monday. If it is not, it’ll be a few days before I have a replacement in-hand, and the knit-along will have to wait until the following Monday. I’ll keep you posted!]

  1. I am sad for your laptop, Lisa… we take our little electronic friends for granted, don’t we (well, I know I do…)

    1. Oh, I definitely do! And if it wasn’t for the fact that Neil is good with this kind of stuff and was willing to help, I would have spent most of this weekend in serious meltdown mode 😉

  2. All the best Lisa! 😀

    1. Thanks 🙂

  3. Thank you so much Lisa, for sharing the link to my Couronne cardigan. There are lots of lovely links here and lots of tempting projects. I’m still working on the lovely Lakeside Forest Blanket! Just over half completed, will keep you posted when finished…trying not to get distracted with more projects started.

    1. Oh, you are welcome – I think it’s such a beautiful project. I love how the color-changing yarn is used to such nice effect. Good luck with it! (And I’ll be excited to see your blanket when it’s done!)
