Once upon a time

Antique child's sewing machine

Once upon a time, there was a girl who had a free moment or two to lounge around in her favorite chair and blog about whatever was on her mind.

I haven’t seen her in several days.  If she turns up in your neck of the woods, please send her back here.  I think I’ve had enough of this “always busy, no time to herself” replacement that blew in here this week.

  1. Boy no kidding! I finally blogged today, too. I wonder if taking on a “real” job isn’t what I’m supposed to do-I’m 60 now and I think I should be doing more of what I WANT to do and less of what I HAVE to do.

    1. I am sure I will feel exactly that way at 60! I hope the balance of WANT to / HAVE to tips more in your favor over the coming year 🙂

  2. Beautiful work. Love your blog. Met you on Picture Winter. happy 2011!

    1. Aw, thanks! Glad you dropped by!

  3. It happens to the best of us sister. :)You will get your mojo back before you know it

    1. I don’t think mojo is the problem, so much as lack of time to put mojo to good use 🙂 Ah well, things will slow down eventually!!

  4. I know that girl! She used to hang around here drinking coffee sometimes. Haven’t seen her for awhile either. It’s kind of annoying since I thought we were friends! 🙂

    1. Heh, well, don’t take it personally – she tends to become a hermit when overwhelmed with things to do 🙂
