I finished my #glasgow2024 shawl *before* getting

I finished my #glasgow2024 shawl *before* getting on the airplane, LOL! I'll do a proper unfurled show and tell later, but for now this is it, folded up, and featuring a coordinating shawl pin that I also made 💜🩵💚

Variegated yarn is the "skein dubh" colorway from @thirdvaultyarns, and the solids are Berroco Vintage.

I spent all last week sewing some new tops in bright and bold plaids and florals, and I thought I was finished until I put on my fun new Star Wars comic book glasses and realized I needed a nice solid color to go with my busy specs 😁. I may love this charcoal gray hemp/cotton blend the best out of all of my new tops!

It's been seven years since I last went with Neil

It's been seven years since I last went with Neil to #readercon. Not that I ever really "go to Readercon." Neil does con stuff, and I entertain myself in other ways. This time I stayed in the hotel room and did Day Job stuff, mostly. But I also took a quick trip to #wollastonbeach on Friday and I drove through #boston in the rain on Saturday, and I took some photos out the 9th floor windows at the hotel, and I played with night photography in the courtyard... It's always a good weekend, if I get to the end of it with a few dozen photos that make me happy 😁
