Description
These seam ripper blades have a durable chrome finish, and the fancy handles are made by me from polymer clay, in one of my signature millefiori designs.
The color and finish is inherent in the clay. No paints or sealers are used, so there is no possibility of chipping. After baking, the handles are wet-sanded through several grits of sandpaper, and then buffed to a nice, soft, satiny shine. They are exceedingly smooth, and pleasant to touch.
The seam ripper may be taken out of its handle and re-inserted blade-side-first for safe storage.
Do you have special preferences when it comes to your seam ripper handles? I will be happy to work with you to create a tool tailored to your needs, that will be both as comfortable and as beautiful as possible.
Belong to a quilting guild? These handcrafted tools would make great gifts for your fellow members!

This is a quality, well-made seam ripper that will last a lifetime. And it’s so pretty…it makes tearing out seams a bit easier to stomach! Love it!
