Here are five heart-healthy recipes from my kitchen
My husband, Neil, had a heart attack in the summer of 2012. That event sparked a change in my cooking: less salt and less saturated fat. It required me to find new foods to prepare, and to find ways of tweaking some of our old favorites. That Christmas, wanting to share some healthier options with our families, I put together this small cookbook.
I am not a professional cook. I am often not even an enthusiastic cook. But these are real recipes I use, and the people I feed seem to like them.
