So you’ve done some Basic Editing on your photos, and it’s OK, but it just needs a little something. Drama in your landscape sky, maybe? A touch of purple in those Autumn leaves? How about making everything look like it did with the film camera you got on your 10th birthday all of those years ago? The Polka Dot Cottage Creative Collection #1 has ten Lightroom presets and Photoshop actions that you can use for a bit of colorful fun.

Both versions contain the following 10 creative edits:
- 1981
- Autumn Red
- Dramatic Sky
- Greener Brighter Blues
- Subtly Vintage Beach
- Vintage Pink
- Cross Process
- Pea Soup
- Purple Autumn
- Faded Old Photo
The Lightroom and Photoshop versions of each edit may not be identical, but they’re darn close. They’re very different types of editors, so it’s not always easy to duplicate the looks from one to the other.
Every PS Action is self-contained in either a single layer or a single group of layers, leaving the base image untouched. As a result, it’s easy to hide or delete the results of any action you don’t like without changing the original image.
Requirements
There are two versions of this collection available: one for Lightroom users, and one for Photoshop users. Each flavor of each collection was tested using the most recent Creative Cloud
update as of this writing (version is in parenthesis).
Lightroom Presets work in the current versions of:
- Adobe Lightroom Classic CC (7.4)
- Lightroom CC (1.4)
- Camera Raw CC (10.4)
