Here is a little portfolio of the design work I have done. If you are interested in creating or updating your web presence, drop me a line below – maybe I can help!
Sites I built from scratch
- Polka Dot Cottage, my self-hosted WordPress blog and the accompanying shop for my artwork (I am continually making changes and trying new things with this site – I consider it my playground)
- Polka Dot Creations, my internet book shop
- Polka Dot Radio, an internet radio station that I ran at one time
- My family’s personal website (also a WordPress blog)
Sites I built to work on a free WordPress.com blog
New Jersey Polymer Clay Guild, an art organization that wanted a place to post announcements, link to their members, share information with prospective members, and keep track of upcoming events.
Existing sites I updated
Down Cellar was a local yarn shop with an existing self-hosted WordPress blog. They wanted to take advantage of current social networking trends and integrate useful tools such as a calendar and photo album.
Turn the Towns Teal is an ovarian cancer awareness organization with an existing self-hosted WordPress blog. My work with TTTT is ongoing. I help them with changing and adding to their website content, re-arranging some of the menu items, formatting changes, etc.
I particularly enjoy working with self-hosted WordPress blogs, updating an existing framework, and integrating appropriate internet-based tools and social networking features.
If you’ve had your website built by a professional, and would like some assistance with the smaller, day-to-day needs. I can help with that. I am available at a competitive hourly rate, or we can discuss a monthly retainer if you anticipate a high volume of work.
If any of this sounds like something you want to talk about for your small business, organization, or family site, drop me a line below and we can chat about it.
