I took apart one of my clay tools this past weeken I took apart one of my clay tools this past weekend when I noticed it's nice texture. Without the other pieces in the way, it's easy to roll onto the clay to impress this design into the polymer's surface. Here's an extreme close-up. Bonus points to any of my polymer peeps who know what tool this is 😁Aug 03 Tune-in to Texture #pspictureelements #thepictureseries

I mentioned starting two projects today in my earl I mentioned starting two projects today in my earlier post. This is the second: Picture Elements with @traceyclark. Today's prompt has us looking at shapes. I took a lot of pictures today when I was supposed to be working (wasn't balancing all that well today, if I'm being honest!) and this is my favorite. It was just supposed to be the round cup, but there's a surprise square reflection of my phone in the coffee 🔵🟦 😁Aug 01 Balancing Act | #pspictureelements #thepictureseries
Hello, August! I'm starting two creative projects Hello, August! I'm starting two creative projects this month, the first of which is the August Earring of the Day project, or #augustofearringsI'm spending this month experimenting with techniques, colors, shapes and/or styles that vary in some way from my usual. I'll share a new earring design every day. These will all be available to purchase, but are extremely limited in availability. Many pairs will be the only ones of their kind!Today's style ended up looking pretty similar to my usual, but I assure you that I got there a different way 😁Copper ear wires | ~1.25" from top of wire to bottom of dangle | Polymer semicircle tile featuring a groovy design in mint, chartreuse, melon, and pink, with sparkles here and there | Sanded and buffed to bring out polymer's natural shine
Today: playing with different techniques, textures Today: playing with different techniques, textures, and shapes. Intrigued? You might like what I have planned for August 😉
